Also had we signed a CB that was far less injured than Rodwell, we may never have gotten the 1mil+ we’re rumoured to be getting for JGR.

This is pretty much how he’s extended his career by the best part of a decade, as club after club has lined up like a desperate woman with a ticking biological clock and convinced themselves “we can be the ones to fix him”.

How many times Lolley shoots with his right foot.
And how many times Caceras shoots with his left foot.
I suggest a target of 3 attempts.
I can honestly say I started working on this the night before you posted your list, but just for completeness, here are the A-League minutes played by all of Sydney FC’s foreigners over the years.
They are ordered by the percentage of possible minutes played, so the denominator only includes games while they were signed with the club (e.g. after Rd 17, 2016–17 for Jordy Buijs) and they must’ve been around for at least 5 matches to count (hence no Carbone or Kazu).

Also, let there be no more talk of “taking a gamble” on foreigners. How many of the players playing less than 50% minutes were still actually worth the foreign spot? Very few. How many were worth their foreign spot if playing 75% or more minutes? A high percentage, I’d say.
It’s always a bit of a gamble when approaching foreigners. You need to take foreign language into account, very different climate as well as different footballing environment. You never know how they’ll respond when they come over

Surprised Hiro was so low!
The 10-11 season he had 2020 minutes. Rowdy is only going season-by-season, not by overall.
