Concentration of the market for stuff basically. There are only a few companies who do a lot of these infrastructure type things at this scale. So when one of them has a problem it hits a big chunk of the world.
Cloudflare had that outage a couple of years ago. Pressure sure AWS had one a while back too didnt they that basically ended up with half of the sites on the web being inaccessible.
Nearly every flight in the U.S. is grounded right now following a CrowdStrike system update error thatâs affecting everything from travel to mobile ordering at Starbucks â but not Southwest Airlines flights. Southwest is still flying high, unaffected by the outage thatâs plaguing the world today, and thatâs apparently because itâs using Windows 3.1.

So Twitter has been banned in Brazil after they refused to name a new legal representative to take on a case, in which the Brazilian government was demanding they remove certain accounts that were spreading misinformation. Elon Musk has stated that, if Brazil confiscates his property, heâs going to reciprocate and seize Brazilian property.
I honestly donât know what that means⊠I mean should Brazilian BBQ places be worried??
