The pro-Trump PSA at the end (linked above by rhys) is #1 of 50, as theyâve just signed on for 5 more seasons of 10 episodes genuinely hope thereâs 49 more of them to come.
We thought Kendrick vs Drake was a massacre⊠that is stunning.
Having watched that last night. Holy shit.
If Trey Parker & Matt Stone suddenly fall out of a window, I think we all know why. If thatâs episode one, the rest of the season is going to be wild.
Theyâve potentially either blown up a $1.5Bn payday or will end up with a huge chunk of change for doing fuck all for the next 5 years if the show gets yanked.
Absolutely loving this and Colbertâs reaction to Trumpâs bullshit. Total popcorn time, that fat orange fuckstain will be completely unable to ignore it and will do many stupid things in his toddler tanty.
Amazing the way Trump is doing it. For anyone that doesnât know why these companies are bowing to demands, it essentially comes around because the US Government is threatening to stop new licenses and license renewals for the companies when it comes to broadcast rights. Itâll essentially cost some of these companies hundreds of millions if they donât comply, all organised by the FCC. So Trump is slowly bringing the US media under government control, and the billionaire execs are complicit to protect their money and to hell with the rest of it.
That was Trumpâs press secretary pretending a show that commands $30m PER EPISODE isnât scuccessful.
The final scene with Butters waiting for death and Cartman saying âI love you dudeâ does seem kinda representative of Trey and Matt saying goodbye to each other (just in case).
But given the contractual issues that were only resolved hours before broadcast I canât believe theyâd have left themselves open to being diddled. Theyâll have full creative control and so itâll be a case of the network having to pay them out to fuck them off⊠which tbf they also have very recent, somewhat related form for.
Never watched Dexter untill today.
Iâve come down with a lurgy, spent all day on the couch watching S1.
Loving it.
Suprise motherfucker
Wow hang that in the Louvre!
I started watching Man on the Inside last night - for fans (like me) of Michael Schur shows it is certainly worth watching. It feels a little different to most of his other shows besides Rutherford Falls in that they are both really sincere and still funny without the âgagsâ - though Ted Danson does have some and really, he is pretty bloody funny in it with some real laugh out loud stuff. Got a lot of actors from other Schur shows as well.
Hence my ongoing mockery of the good/bad billionaire dynamic in the context of online discourse.
