Driving up the mountains this afternoon was possibly the worst conditions I’ve ever driven in. Random puddles right in the middle of the highway that you couldn’t see until you hit them. Scary stuff.
Thought I was gonna cop it driving home from work. Nup, a few spots and thats it. Shame.
Conditions are set for a possible storm any afternoon over the next few days. I expect a decent one to materialise and kick off Sydney storm season.
So next Saturday arvo before the derby?

My bus is delayed 15 minutes but the one before was also delayed so I managed to get that. Bonus
A couple of dicey spots on the F3 heading north, including an impromptu waterfall on the downhill run to Brooklyn. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’d been accidents.
Usually I don’t see three accidents in one day but today was one of those days.
I was delayed in Melbourne for 2 freaking hours. The only positive is my boss has access to the Virgin VIP lounge. Free food and alcohol for the win!

Had my colleagues over in London from the various European offices Wednesday to Friday morning. My poor German colleague had his flight to Munich cancelled Friday lunchtime, they put him on one Saturday night, Munich airport was then closed until Monday. They could only get him on a flight for tomorrow night at the earliest. He ended up getting home around midnight last night, had to fly to Frankfurt, get a 4 hour train to Augsburg and then get his wife to drive the 70km from Munich to pick him up as trains to munich were also cancelled. Lost his whole weekend due to a work trip.
Snow in Munich was crazy
On short hop from SGP to MY yesterday and the flight was far from full. I am on the aisle and the chap next to me is on the middle seat. As they close the doors we notice the window seat is free. I suggest he may want shuffle across so we both have more space - he declined, sayin he preferred the middle seat.

Sounds like he’d be the kind who also chooses the urinal right next to yours when you’re the only two people in the toilet and there are five others free.
