ESPN is perhaps interesting, but to claim it has some âon and off Foxâ coverage is a bit rich. Nonetheless, 10 striking this deal might give us some hope that they have a plan to get through their current crisis as a brand, if not as one of the âbig 3â
Uhh hate to break it to you but thatâs not how that works. Hubbl is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Foxtel, 65% NewsCorpse owned and the rest by Telstra. So Kayo subs go into the coffers of the fascists.
I honestly couldnât give a fuck who owns the network, as long as the coverage is accessible (pubs etc can put it on easily), is of a decent standard and Andy Harper isnât a commentator then Iâll be happy
We all know the glory years were foxsports on a saturday rolling through to the EPL coverage

Donât quote but Iâm sure on the shame match last night the commentator mentioned that the match in Wellington will be exclusively on Paramount.
Grain of salt though, those commentators arenât exactly Riche Benaud level of professionalism

Welly v Shame is a P+ exclusive, I assume in keeping with early Saturdayâs all season.
Our game in Gosford is also on 10Bold as the designated Saturday night TV game, and because everyone only tunes in to watch the Sydney.

What a fucking stupid decision. I wonât be able to watch it, as I sure am shit not going to give them more money just for the one game which happens to not involve my team!
That said, I expect the game to be another borefest.
I wonât be watching it either, and only interest revolves around where Iâm booking flights to the following weekend.

Could the Welly home game not being (if so) on 10 have anything to do with the NZ games all being broadcast by SKYSports?
I thought part of the TV deal meant all finals had to be played on free to air.
I could also be very wrong about that.
The NZ FA is working with all clubs in and around Wellington to shift games aroind, so all players and refs can go to the finals

Itâs not just a rant, either. He makes very good points, and he himself was a victim of those machinations.
That said, I donât see many people, at least on here, calling for us to go back to Fox.

Both no there is definitely a nostalgia for having A-League and EPL together under one umbrella, and the extra exposure it gave to our comp. Things really went south for the HAL when Fox lost the EPL
