Advertising during an Australian stream of the NFL seems about where we’re at.
Was it in between ads for a home will kit and buy one get one free house dusters, call this number now…?

After many failed attempts of trying that LG2024 code for Paramount+, using phone, laptop, different credit cards, it finally went through.
Well they charged my credit card $48 at least, while the account refuses to acknowledge it and I’m still left without access 
Why is this service so useless…
Now trying to find a contact me or email address to get them to fix it…
Yeah, they’re hopeless. I just tried to cancel (reason: too expensive), then a window popped up saying it would be 50% off to renew… which I said “Yes” to… but page still says cancelled. I guess I’ll have to wait and see

P+ subscription expired today, so I went through the Get Started flow to see if there was any hint of a loyalty discount.
Got all the way through to putting in my card details with no offers, so I gave the LG2024 promo a shot and it worked flawlessly. $48.99 through to 7/10/2025.

Yeah, predictably, the 50% off renewal didn’t work… and by the time my subscription expired, the LG code had also expired….
I contacted Paramount support, and they said they would apply the discount manually once I renewed…
but then user error - I renewed via Apple subscription, which doesn’t work for Paramount to apply their discount code…
… so they advised to cancel the Apple subscription (which comes with a 7 day free trial), then wait for 7 days to expire, then I have to renew via the website, then they will apply the discount!
What an ordeal… now I just have to keep going through it just on principle, even though I’ve spent way more time on this than the discount warrants.

So once a year I pay a company $70 US, for that I get 12 months of access to everything I could ever want to watch, streamed at native resolution. It works on every imaginable device including every smart TV I’ve tried, my phone, my Xbox One, my tablet and on an old TV using an Amazon Fire stick.
I can’t imagine doing it any other way, I haven’t missed a Sydney FC game broadcast yet and I get to watch as much US sport and UFC as I want regardless of broadcaster.
What’s the name of this service?

4k-service.com, I’ve been using them for nearly 3 years with very few issues. Deffo not legit but if providers did an even HALF decent job, I wouldn’t need these guys.

For football I make an exception, but I still think we need to bring back the threat of lost revenue from piracy to make media companies do their jobs.
The reason streaming services took off was because the old way (DVDs and cable with DRM) sucked and were expensive, but piracy took extra work. Now streaming services suck and are expensive…
