This is probably one of Cityās worst halves of the season. Wanderers have given them nothing, and if not for the VAR and the pretty ordinary follow-up just then by Priestman, Wanderers would be out of sight without being particularly outstanding. Arslan has been a spectator.

I know Maclaren scores most of their goals but City would be better off finding someone who actually gets involved in general play. It is even worse that Maclaren happens to be their captain, as well. It makes grindy games like this pretty much impossible to get back into. Heās not doing anything on the ball or off it to inspire the team. Contrast that with Marcelo, as much of a piece of garbage he is at times.
Marcelo pretty perfectly embodies the āhe might be a insert swear word of choice but at least heās our same wordā style of player
