Western Sydney Wanderers Thread- Cosplay Ultras Edition

How do you get away tickets to the derby at Bankwest?

They were released last Friday, currently none showing on ticketek

Sold out already? Was there a member password to get them?

I’m not a member this season

Yeah members had a window to buy them and they largely sold out in that period.

Ahh damn. Which bays were available? Looks like I’ll have to get tickets as close as possible.

There’s discussion of the available bays here and below including where others are buying:

You should get a membership so that you don’t miss out in March

Well,what a difference a few weeks make!

A nine goal turnaround, the magic cup doesnt runneth over!

NWSW rumoured to have signed Alexander Meier, former Bundesliga top scorer in 2014/15 season, beating Lewandowski to the honour. 119 goals in 336 games for Frankfurt, 6 from 16 for St Pauli most recently.

Is 36 though, and will be 37 before the league is halfway done. Hopefully he finds A-League pitches to be far too firm for his knees and hips.

Meier confirmed. Naturally they’re using pics of him in Eintracht away kits.

CV featuring Hamburg AND St Pauli? He’ll fit right in at turncoat FC.

PIO goals cost 500k each, this guy could be similar value!

He’s played with Schwegler before too, so with any luck they’ll be able to swap shirt numbers. The #19 would be right between Jurman and Vedran in the locker room…

Tbh really rate their gold kit and the whole release they’ve done with it. The box with western Sydney mapped over it is clean. In fact, I really rate the whole branding direction they’ve taken with the club this off season using local rappers and creatives. Can’t help but feel our approach has always been a little too boring and hardly appealing to a younger and more hip demographic.

Yeah. Winning is so boring.

Majewski has sufferers a knee injury, they’re waiting on scans to determine severity, article behind pay wall.

Western Sydney Wanderers import Radoslaw Majewski sent for scans

Western Sydney Wanderers’ coach Markus Babbel’s A-League plans have been struck an early blow after a star import was injured at training.

One of Western Sydney Wanderers’ star imports could miss the start of the new A-League season after Polish playmaker Radoslaw Majewski was injured at training.

In what could be a significant blow to coach Markus Babbel’s plans for the new campaign, Majewski will have scans on his right knee today after colliding with defender Dylan McGowan.

Though the club hope it will prove to be just a temporary setback, Majewski has told teammates he is concerned the injury could be worse than that.

The 32-year-old was signed to bring a level of creativity to the Wanderers attacks that has been missing in recent seasons, and had shown signs of his class in the 7-0 demolition of Sydney United earlier this month.

After losing their FFA Cup quarterfinal to Melbourne City last week, Western Sydney kick off their A-League season at home to the Mariners on October 12 — the night they return to Parramatta to play at the new Bankwest Stadium.

Western Sydney have already dodged one bullet in pre-season, with striker and captain Mitch Duke ready for round one after tearing a meniscus last month — an injury that had initially be seen as a suspected ACL injury.

The Wanderers were approached for comment."

Confirmed that majewski had ruptured his acl & mcl.

Never like to see a player do his ACL, even if it is a player from a rival team. But with him and Duke out before the season even starts, these are new levels for the Wanderers.

Hope their fans really savoured that early success.
