Where are they now?

That has reminded me of the time that I coached an U15s game against him.

Had to ask to make sure it was him  good on him.

Sounds like Lacerda picked up a long term knee injury thats ended his 2024.

"Defender Gabriel Lacerda suffered a knee ligament injury during training and will undergo surgery. The defender was playing for Sydney FC in Australia and returned to CearĂĄ in July.

With that, Lacerda will undergo surgery and it is the end of the 2024 season."

McLean has made her debut as a Courage player. Still waiting for Vine time, due to the Olympics no doubt.

Robert Mak came on and then scored the second in injury time in a 2-0 UCL qualifier against APOEL Nicosia.

Surprised this guy doesn’t move to the Arctic Circle, given his disdain for warm weather. Still a great player though.

“Austin has been in a state of free agency for more than three years due to an injury necessitating two cartilage transplants, during which time he has awaited suitable donors for the surgical procedures”

At least he’s not just loafing around.

Sounds like he doesn’t knead the dough from professional football. The professional career is toast, but his family business appears to be rising nicely.

That’s what you get when you start your career at Yeast Sydney FC.

Well, at least he’s not sourdough about his football career not being as prolific as a bakers dozen.

Leaving the pun run aside, this is the kind of journalism we need more of. I wouldn’t call it negative per se, although I can see how some might, but it’s the kind of interrogative longer piece that would never get published by Keepup or anything funded by the league or fed.

It’s almost as if they made the journalists sign a naan-disclose agreement

Robbie Mak is a having a stellar start to his stint at Slovan Bratislava.

1 goal in his first 3 league games.

Has also scored 3 goals in each qualification round as SB attempt to qualify for the Champions League. Goals in one leg v FC Sturga (Macedonia), Celje (Slovenia), and APOEL (Cyprus)

Their first leg final qualification match against FC Midtjylland (Denmark) resulted in a 1-1 draw, with Mak not making it on the score sheet.

Let’s prepare for some amazing scenes as Slovan go onto win 2-1 with Mak scoring the winner in the return leg. :crossed_fingers:

I just miss the big bastard
