To be fair, I haven’t finished it yet, arrived at work just after he said that. I’ll resume tonight.

I’m never going to listen to a podcast, cliff notes?
Fuck me. There was a bit there. Came across ok.
Gotta be Arnie.
maybe boredofstudies will have some stuff?
There’s a lot in there, and a lot of it is how he puts it across. I reckon half of what he says is… maybe not 100% historically accurate, but I found him oddly sympathetic. He’s clearly been through some stuff.
He sort of kicks off by recounting getting a contract in England at a young age, in some part because his mum had European citizenship. When he asked his mum to sign the thing, she sat him down and confessed she wasn’t his real mother!
That sort of sets the scene, imo. It’s kind of worth it for
Daniel Garb and Simon Hills reactions.
An hour?
You people seriously listen to podcasts for an hour?
I can barely concentrate for a full hour
I can read a transcript of what people discussed for an hour but actually listening to them?
I like listening to people talk about how awesome Sydney FC are…
Me too
I listen to 2 hours (minimum) of podcasts a day, most days more than that.
Yeah, but you’re the boss and have minions running your evil chemical empire for you.
Or an average Sydney commute
my commute is 12 minutes and I consider that too long.
I listen to podcasts at the gym, then on the way to and from work. That alone equals 2 hours.
Then if I’m driving to see a client, waiting around at airports etc then you can add many more hours to that.
Same here. It’s pretty much an hour each way on my commute, and I’m certainly not going to listen to the dross that morning radio serve up. Pretty much whenever I’m in the car by myself I listen to podcasts.
For me, i only ever listen to podcasts on my computer if i’m doing something else at the time, never just listen to them on their own. It’s nice to have something when i’m staring at a spreadsheet.
OK, I can see why you where a bit perplexed by my earlier comments now that I’ve listened to the whole thing - he hadn’t got to the bombshell yet.
Zac Anderson has signed on with Hougang United for the new Singapore Premier League season.
In other news I didn’t know, Aurelio Vidmar is the coach at Home United in the SPL.
One of the greatest moments in SFC history was 11 years ago today.
