Hmmm. Has a lot of taint about him. Probably locked down for Melbourne to step into Valeri’s shoes for 1-2 seasons and provide stability.

In other news, Super Dave appears to be working on a coaching license in Europe. Would be great to have another Old Boy in the coaching caper. That dream of an A-League entirely coached by our alumni draws nearer:

Can we really count Staj? I thought we were talking about ex-players, rather than simply ex-coaches. Nonetheless, a growing list of ex-Sydney FC players becoming head coaches or even assistants is something we can be proud of. It looks like we have a good system in place to encourage players to become coaches once their playing days end.
