A conflict between China and the Philippines is looking more and more likely. They’ve been clashing in seas officially recognised as Philippine zones, however claimed by China. Previous clashes involved Chinese naval ships spraying Phillipino craft with hoses, but the latest clash involved multiple RHIB clashing with some being pierced and a soldier losing a finger.
Any of the more nautically aware people on this forum have any ideas what happened here? Pure incompetence, or did we do something wrong in the build, or both?

I reckon it’s because the pilot tried to drive the boat over a section of water that wasn’t deep enough to accommodate said boat.
Driving it onto a reef probably didn’t help. At least the front didn’t fall off.
Was it one of the ones that was built so the front doesn’t fall off at all?
From what I’ve heard the locals pretty much refuse to go through there in anything with a draught bigger than a tinny.
