Also this Wellington offside line is comically bad. That it’s only 2 weeks before season’s end that were overtaking them is a massive stain on our club.

When was the last time they made finals, and when was the last time they made a final series we weren’t also in? We literally don’t have any games scheduled against them. If they wanted to chant that, they should have gone to the yoof game up the road.
I assume the reason (if they need one for being c**ts) is that they officially finish above us, but a) That was never much on question and b) They surely should have bigger goals. They’re in position for a home semi (Well, return leg at home).
Strange thing to chant, while giving us a boost on the ladder to 5th place, and making sure the GD for the now 6th placed Nix means they must go above us on points, as it would be difficult to turn the GD around.
Unless they’re chanting ‘F— off Sydney FC, we’re going to ensure Corica gets signed for another 2 years by pulling you up into a more certain finals spot’?

WSW played some really wonderful football and at the heart of it were Ninko (too old to start?), Hof (too injured to bother with?) and Simmons (who I had never heard of when he was at SFC).

They started the chant after putting enough passed the Nux to send us up the table. I assumed it was for that reason.
Must admit having watching the highlights, they played some helluva attractive futbol.

Ninko is probably a fair call it wasn’t guaranteed he would still be effective, Hoff is a strange one he’s going to end up making the Wanderers a healthy xfer fee, how Corica gave up on him is only something mirror loving boy can answer.
Simmons was never given a chance in sky blue , he was stuck in the youth team and never got to train in the first team.
He just wanted an opportunity to show what he can do, and now his displaced a senior squad member in the starting 11 for the best defence in the league, great to see if work out for him.
like with Hof corcia looks like a douche on Simmons.

Everyone saying we should have given Hoff another chance has a short memory. He was basically a young Rodwell for us. Always injured. We really had no choice but to let him go

Sure, but how come they could get Hof fit for a full season and we were lucky to have him fit for five games? There’s no way around the fact that how they handled Hof is going to be a mistake we’ll still be talking about in a decade.
