If Rodwell was 100% exempt from the cap through the Homegrown Player Allowance and didn’t take up a foreign spot, perhaps.
Letting him walk only made sense under the assumption that he was perma-broken. Being ready for 90 minutes Round 1, and seeing through the season, means that evaluation was clearly very very wrong and I honestly think someone should be sacked for it.
Too many factors we don’t know about etc. No-one is getting sacked because we let an extraordinarily injury prone player go.

Piscopo only passes if he has absolutely no other option, and when he does it’s almost always a bad pass. The kid has great potential but he’s just a good old fashioned hog, we all used to have one on the team as kids but surprised it hasn’t been coached out of him on his way up to this level.

So CCM should now be in 2nd place, as they are equal on pts and GD as the Westies but have won more games.

I wonder if this starts the questions about Pappas’ future. He should’ve done better with this squad and again it looks like they’re missing the six. Mikeltadze also looking about a tenth of the player he was last season.
They’ve also scored more goals, which I imagine is one of the tiebreakers before most wins.
