Not to rehash the marquees vs winning argument, but Iām not convinced heād be the right fit if it means not upgrading any other spots in defenceā¦ if we have the coin for a PL level player, I think weād get more improvement with Fabianski
Now iām 100% all for getting in Polish players, ESPECIALLY ex-National team players. Fabianski is 40 and shipped 28 goals in 17 games last season for West Ham. I think heās passed it. If you were to go for anyone, iād be aiming for Szczesny, especially if you sell the lifestyle to him. Iād also be willing to give him a lift to the Ashfield Polish club every now and then and hook him up with my wifeās cousinās small goods.
