Taley tried a pressing game with Costa and Lolley, players too old for pressing. Then when it didn’t work blamed Burgess. Bit like when Del Piero forced on Farina.

Its good it wasn’t a closed door friendly, I wish they advertised it though, I’m pretty close to Blacktown, if I’d known it was on I probably would have come down.
They played at Homebush athletics field. I only knew about it coz of the refs. Not advertised… only a handful of people

Man… why didn’t I hear this speculation before yesterday’s trial match - I walked past ABJ outside the ground, and he was in deep phone conversation… but I respected his privacy, so walked too far away to hear anything. If I had heard the news, I might have cheekily asked if he was chatting to Muller.
After the match, every player had left the field and it was Uffy and ABJ in the middle of the ground, so hopefully they were signing off on the latest signing

Proper silly season speculation there. Love it. If we were to land him, Uffie needs to work out that trying any form of pressing is a complete waste of time with all those old timers creaking around.
