Good to finally see Wests in an appropriately sized venue.

Bernie putting Wests out is just delightful

You have to hand it to them, that club’s ability to continually find new ways to embarrass themselves is quite entertaining.

Bernie with a great run and finish.
Haha West’s.

Hilarious.

Had one eye on this and one eye on NPL. Wests opener pretty much a deflection in off Carluccio’s face, they should’ve been 2-0 up but a mad goalmouth scramble saw Brisbane clear off the line behind Holmes twice within seconds. Lescano then missed an empty net just before half time, Ziggy left the ball for Mejias, Lescano nipped in between them, easily rounded the keeper and sat him on his arse… tight angle, heading towards the corner flag, but instead of just hitting the target he chose to smash it and put it over the bar. Entertaining half, but quality sorely lacking so not hard to see why these two were nowhere near the top 6.

Second half Brisbane were better. Mejias partially unsighted for Bernie’s first, but it still rolled RIGHT by him. Would be very surprising if he’s not the one making way for Lawrence Thomas. Then Wests entire defence off having a siesta for the killer goal, Traore has been phoning it in for over 12 months but there was still 15 minutes to go, no idea how Tomic gets the ball with 70m of wide open pasture in front of him.

Highlights here:

Eliminated from a comp before the previous season ends. Respect.

Where was that finishing when he was with us?

It’s Wests. The keeper and defending was horrible for both.

And when he scored against us earlier in the week, well…it was us. See above.

How good are they at doing everything first!

Alas no magic at Penshust Park. St George City 4 - 2 Dully.

Dully were 2-1 up when they spurned a one on one chance with the keeper. From the goal kick St George broke forward to go through Dully’s defence to draw it up. Then in a ten minute period they scored another two goals to leave Dully broken hearted. :frowning:

Bit of a cupset. Northern Tigers SMASHED Manly Utd.

Please tell me there’s a Manly United player who is actually named ‘Goal’.

Games on tonight and tomorrow night.
Can someone find streaming somewhere?

Maybe npl.tv? They have replays of the games from a fortnight ago, so maybe they’ll stream live from there too?

Bit of a cupset last night.

Wollongong Macedonia beat Blacktown City 0-1 away from home.

Wollongong Wolves smashed non-league club Lindfield from the north shore 5-0.

Bonnyrigg had to go to penalties to overcome Mounties.

St George beat Blacktown Spartans 2-0, so there’ll be no Blacktown representation any more.

Hakoah are still alive, downing Sydney University 4-1

Northern Tigers put 8 past Willoughby Dallies

Northern Spirit dispatched Parramatta FC 1-0 as well.

Sydney United take on Hurstville Zagreb on the 7th.

Did they show them live?

Not that I could find…the same games from Victoria was all that was available, along with a couple of women’s games live, also from Vic, I think.
