Gotta love the generic signs in the Voltaren ad. Does one of them say “Champions”?
So something I briefly thought about last night and just saw a tweet about,
with the cricket team in the doldrums, are the Matildas the national team now?
They’re the Wallabies from 25 years ago.
Where the wallabies that big outside of NSW/QLD?

I think its widely accepted that the Matildas are the most popular national team in the country.

Successful, yes. But a long way from their old ubiquitous popularity
Success on field =/= success off field. They just don’t sit in the same place in the national psyche that they did in the 80s,90 + 00s from what I feel.
Heyman has such a dopey grin but it’s quite endearing.
