Happy Festivus to all
Happy Festivus to all
Happy fucking Christmas/Yule/Hanukah/Krampusnacht/etc. you whiny, reactionary, bleating, well-informed, intelligent and articulate fucks.
So touching. I almost felt a slight tingle in the empty cavity where a heart would normally be located.
Merry Xmas cunts. Let’s hope Santa takes a big shit in Melbourne Victory’s stocking, and gives us a sack full of goals.
Merry Christmas all!!!
Merry Christmas… hope everyone is well and enjoying the day as much as they can
Merry Christmas everyone, I hope it’s been a nice day
Merry Christmas to all of SFCU!
Merry Christmas to all at SFCU and their fam. Hope you are all having a great day. The sky has been a beautiful sky blue colour all day
It’s my birthday in a few days, and looking to treat myself to a nice lunch somewhere in town/east. Looking at maybe a steak and an old fashioned or two, but open to suggestions. Budget around $150 (but can go higher if worth it), preferably suitable for single dining too.
I went to Meat & Wine Co at Barrangaroo a few months ago - dined solo. Food was really good, steak was cooked to perfection.
Not sure they do an old fashioned though, but Im sure it cant be that hard for a venue if you asked…
Woodcut (at the Crown), Bistecca or the Gidley…
Yeah I went there a few years ago - just before Crown was completed - and it was pretty good.
Weirdly in a sign I’m getting old the most stand out thing I remember was the really nice chairs they had.
Second all three of these.
Went to woodcut the other week with two mates and blew through $1500 without blinking. Farking epic! Previous time we did Bistecca.
We put $20 each in a savings account every week so we can do this without feeling like we are wasting money, and also to ensure we always catch up as life usually gets in the way of regular catchups.
There’s been good steak chat here before in the Sydney thread, did a forum search for reference before booking dinner with the boys earlier in the year. Issue is that most of the higher end places you usually need to book well in advance.
On my last trip home I did both Woodcut and Bistecca. Loved both, but felt Woodcut was the better meal. Fantastic new addition to the Sydney food scene.
Me until the 2nd. Then back at work for a couple of days. Then off for 3 weeks for more of that.
This was gonna be me today but then my wife found things that the house needs.
Damn it.
I’m set from 12 onwards when the Wellington game kicks off.
