Slightly off topic but still in the realm of dumbshit caught on camera. My father-in-law setup cameras around his house as he had a heaps suss neighbour at the time.
They went away but caught the neighbour turning on their hose to flood their garden, ripping off the aerial on the house sitters car and heaps of dodgy sneaking around the garden. The cops loved it!

Yeah, starting to effect a lot of industries too. Many manufacturing plants in China have shut down while citizens are in isolation, causing supply issues for a lot of products (both complete products as well as parts for products made elsewhere).
Amazon is freaking out as it’s business is all based on third party suppliers. Watch as supplies from China slowly decrease and everyone starts to run out of stuff. Even at the shops yesterday, it was astounding how many people were buying food and drinks in bulk…
On a better note though, the pollution over China has significantly decreased.

Hard to say, a lot of policies don’t have a; “Cancel for any reason” so you’re screwed if you make the choice to cancel because you fear it but some have exclusions where if there’s a ban from the Government you’re farked as well. My sister only found out a policy she purchased in December mentions that pandemics are an exclusions. My advice; check your policy PDS.

Just got back from Coles. No toilet paper, no pasta, no bottled water, no 2 minute noodes yet frozen foods untouched.
So is the thinking that our power and water supply is going to be turned off due to the virus? Hope the gas supply isn’t also cut otherwise they may have issues cooking their pasta. Maybe they can start a campfire in their living rooms.
At least they can use the toilet paper to help start the fire.
Cheers that’s pretty interesting. I was actually planning on going overseas in May to South Korea of all places. Luckily I haven’t spent any money yet, and don’t think I will at least for a while
Oh yeah, but we have stupidity as well. I had a guy who booked a trip last Sunday and called yesterday to see if the policy would cover for Corona.
Plus, all the sudden we have people who tell you they are worried about Corona and then when you say no all the sudden have an injury/illness.
I see nothing wrong with being able to survive at home for a couple of weeks if I get ill. Or the worst case scenarios come to pass.
And I don’t have a lot of frozen food because my freezer is tiny.
