isn’t it about time you go outside to water your concrete?

We’re still on odds and evens and Im evens.
I agree.
Obviously these people have never lived. I can remember if you wanted to buy a sandwich.
On white bread the choices used to be:
Tined spaghetti
Baked beans
Vegemite
Peanut butter
Devon
Ham, which cost extra (but at least was real and off the bone)
tuppence more for toasted.
And you tell the kids today…
Tinned spaghetti on a Jaffle is good.
Ham is the only choice there as the other options are mostly horrible or meh.
Also not like we’re snobs about canned food, I’ve definitely eaten canned veggies but I haven’t eaten canned ham or canned liver pate since I was a kid.
Im going to rotisserie a whole devon one day.
It is mandatory to have tomato sauce on the Devon sandwich.
yeah and then having to take the multiple plastic containers to school, one filled with pickles, the next filled with smoked sausages, the third cheese, tomato and lettuce and smelling of garlic, plus the shot of vodka on the side…
Why are dill pickles so fucking disgusting and how did you get them onto hamburgers?
Tinned spaghetti is so bad that it’s fantastic
Definitely.
Is there a better way to deliver mind control serum then I haven’t heard it, and you make your own good tasting mind control serum and we’ll talk.
Also sounds like you’ve never had a good dill pickle. The crap in jars is just sugar water with a vinegar. You want the good ethnic shit. If it wasn’t delivered in a questionable jar or a plastic bag, is it even a pickle?
Great.
So now I have to find someones Polish grandma?
In Bathurst?
They put out a bunch of funny videos about covid lockdowns that got them a lot of attention and then it’s mostly just your standard “wog” humour.
When did the universal wearing of hats outdoors stop being the thing to do?
Looking at old pictures of cricket and football crowds from the 1930s, it’s almost impossible to spot more than one or two men without a hat on. The crowd is a sea of flatcaps and fedoras.
When did it stop being the thing people did to wear a hat? Was it the 1960s when hairstyle became a source of individual identity? In addition to this, when did the top hat stop being the headwear of choice? Pre WWI? What inspired the demise of the top hat?
I vaguely recall reading that it was something to do with someone from the Royal Family being seen outdoors not wearing one. Word for out and then it gradually it went out of fashion.
Fuck cars.
When it became the norm to start styling your hair with gel
My father in law made me a 4L jar of pickles, currently sitting in my fridge. It’s actually not that hard to make your own. Just need garlic, dill, peppercorns, horseradish leaves and a bunch of other herbs, then salt water and leave covered for a few weeks. Can’t get better than home made. There’s a farm out west that gives you a back of cucumbers and all the herbs to make your own.
