TBF who actually listens to radio any more? Is our target market the +50 boomers?

Better off advertising on Spotify. Cafes/shops/pubs etc. are almost all on that instead of radio now.
I suspect it’s because radio is a much cheaper medium than most.
I kinda like the idea of spending the WHOLE marketing budget for the next 4-5 years on Radio, to see if by the end of it, we have stands full of One Nation-voting, spite-filled old codgers who will intensely hate the game they are watching and the shifty foreigners playing it. Just as a social experiment like.
The more worrying issue today is fox leaving Football and the Aleague logo off their own advertisements.
Looks like the TV campaign is going ahead though?
Plus if you’re going for the 50+ demographic, just use ads with Santalab, i’m sure once Alan Jones realises he how racist he is, he’d get right on board!
Fuck the FFA/owners. How about you actually do your job instead?
The account is private. What’s the gist?
Says that he told someone the story about the FFA pulling the radio ad campaign because the clubs couldn’t agree on it, and that the FFA then complained to his employer and got him sacked.
JayFC got fired cos the FFA got shitty that they couldn’t do their jobs properly and someone in the media found out
Who was his employer?
Oh that was JayFC? I must have known that once.
I’m surprised it was that that moved the FFA to action and not his tireless commitment to bringing publicity to the allegations against Mark Rudan on every one of Western United’s tweets.
Gallop to join Tabcorp board
Here’s to the gambling industry in this country hitting a stall like everything else this guy touches.
So, another example of dross rising to the top? Or dross collecting the gold?
It’s the same old crap, you get promoted until you’re too incompetent to move up and you stay there forever.
Some shit does rise to the top. Gallop is a floatie.
its all about who you know. It always has been at the top end of town.
Schmooze at corporate events, boardroom lunches, make connections etc. I’ve seen it first hand, many of these guys are incompetent but can talk the talk and present well, show confidence, basically bluff their way through life, and everyone’s scratching each other’s back with favours and referrals
Scudamore has been hired as a special adviser to the a-league. I guess it’s a step in the right direction, actually getting football people involved.
Sounds like a great appointment
