in our group of people watching, I was thinking it seemed dispraportionaly high coverage of her, but it was raised by a few others. Not sure on the stats obviously, and we were just in the local pub for a work lunch.
Pretty much why I got my junior cult members ( & bemused wife ) tickets & am going this time around as well. 
Maybe they won’t put me in the home they saw on 60 minutes now. 
I generally find it irritating when coverage cuts to celebrities during sports but seeing Swift is definitely less grating than Infantino.
I don’t understand the phenomenon but whatever floats peoples boats. There are a hell of a lot worse people out there that they could be obsessed with.
No problem with Taytay but what really annoys me is the coverage of the Australian open tennis. At the end of every fucking point they cut to a shot of the players box and show their hot girlfriend dressed up like a fashion show or their over bearing father fist pumping
That’s because it would be more interesting to listen to the WAG talk world politics, rather than watch the dross happening on the court.

As with NRL, any coverage is good coverage for the NFL.
They now have people around the world talking about their brand days after the final, and it’s not even related to the game itself.
You are literally doing their marketing for them by continually talking about her featuring in the coverage. The lack of self awareness to understand this is hilarious. Well done!
People getting gunned down at their victory parade kinda counter balances that good coverage though

One of my mates put a bet on how many times she would appear. He took 8+. The whole pub had fun cheering when she appeared.
And as I was religiously counting her appearances in order to track the bet’s progress I can categorically confirm she barely appeared.
It’s ultimately harmless. Enjoy it.

Consensus here seems to be that even if it’s not our scene, she’s got talent, writes and sings her own tunes, and is a decent role model for young women. Infinitely better than the previous generation looking up to filth like the Kardashians.
My question then is why the fuck was TayTay hanging out with a shamelessly talentless sack of thrush like Ice Spice?

Maybe controversial so don’t take it personally but people who use their fucking phone when trying to tap onto a bus. Every fucking morning my bus is delayed by multiple idiots trying to tap with their phones and failing. We have to wait while they try again and again. Use an Opal card if you can’t work out how it works

The Harvey Norman ad that’s on repeat during the football lately that advertises a Bluetooth turntable. Anyone who buys a Bluetooth turntable needs to be taken out the back and shot, as does Gerry for selling them.
