Central Coast stadium is too small to host a GF at only 20k. That time the decision was justified.

And Gosford is only a 90 min drive away anyway. Some people do that from the Central Coast daily for work.

Is it wrong for me to enjoy how annoyed its making people outside of Sydney?

stop taking our jobs!!!

Stop moving up here in droves

No.

But you’re not allowed to enjoy people from Sydney being annoyed.

Hey, at least the sponsors in the league are reliable.

I wonder if that would allow us to finally move to a proper winter comp.

Kick off the season as the cricket season dials down (with cross promotion), before the NRL/AFL start, end the season in the clear air of October/November before a cricket season scheduled with our dates in mind.

The winter comp, much like “independent league” and “second division” seem to all fall into the same mystical fix it all solutions. Winter comp solves nothing.

Ideally though, having a sport as big as cricket on the same platform may get some more eyes contemplating the league if theres some cross promotion

Well that would at least get P+ into pubs and clubs, and having to vastly improve the functionality.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. They will definitely have to improve their service if they drop mega millions of the cricket rights. Can only be a good thing for the A League

They’d just be funneling people to ch10 though, really.

I was just hopeful for the potential of a play / pause option on P+ if that CA deal does go through.

This is the only thing that can save us now.

So Cricket will be subjected to the piss poor streaming service we have had to put up with since Foxtel got the heave ho ?
I watched the Perth v Canberra WL yesterday , the stream was terrible to watch , I think they had 1 main camera and no light filters , Perth players seemed to be in shadow the whole game . Just plain disrespectful to Football fans.

Was it played at a suburban ground? Doesn’t seem any worse than we used to get with the FFA Cup when Foxtel were still around.

I can’t imagine they move all of the broadcasting equipment (cameras in the stands) in/out of Allianz out every single game (as an example) - so could be a case of simply taking the more portable and inferior cameras to the ground?

Its disappointing because sometimes watching Northern NSW NPL from Maitland has a better production than the ALW.
