Probably the worst in that run of horribly inconsistent calls was the one where Davila two footed an opponent clearing the ball and only got a yellow.

Might be time to check if the officials that day banked $10K cash “from a win on the pokies” around the same time.

I can understand this this, to prevent this I actively started to not seek out attendance numbers and discussions, and more recently ignore the doomsday merchants that the A League is on the death bed. I’ll let the suits worry about that, all I can do is turn on the P+ stream for matches and turn up to Sydney games when I can

Interesting

He doesn’t seem to think either Optus or Foxsports will go in for the rights

I don’t think anyone seriously does, do they?

Banana taking note of the appeel.

The guy who is appealing is absolutely bonkers to think he will get less punishment than that. He’s lucky he’s not doing jail time.

Yeah, $500 is not even a slap on the wrist. He must have some reasoning for trying to reverse the recorded conviction.

Not thinking but was kind of hoping Optus would go for it. Would be a nice addition to their EPL coverage

I guess there are a lot of things that would be nice.

Apple aren’t swooping in with a $1 billion deal to put every game for free on all their devices either, though that would be good.

Yeah same. It’s probably the only way I would subscribe again.

Danny Schofield has been given a further 2 match ban for his conduct having been sent off against us. One match plus one suspended.

So its been confirmed why it takes so long for VAR to decide on a decision.

‘Sad and reprehensible’: A-League hits ‘ground zero’ as clubs cop savage salary cap cut

AAP:

If i’m lamely trying to observe this, Covid and possibly bad management with KeepUp/P+ has hit it’s low.

It’s a low year ahead, but in a way maybe clubs go out hunting money instead of being handed money.

My positive thinking is it will grow from here, given all the building work put ahead by FA, and HOPEFULLY APL.
