Grand Final - Perth Stadium Sunday 19 May

Thanks Eddie, thanks Sponsor. :+1: You will receive beer in gratitude if I find you at the boozer.

So not only do you have to choose restricted view and get a GA ticket (every other category clearly displays the bay before proceeding and has reserved seating), also had to click that tiny little arrow next to where you proceed and ensure I unticked “best available” and instead manually filtered down to Level 1 & $49.

Fuck me. I’m hardly technologically illiterate but they just make this shit so difficult every single time.

Looking again just now it appears the entire system has changed at midday our time. Initial login screen from members email and ticket filtering options are all different to that first infuriating hour.

Man that was kinda confusing. So they have thrown me into section 143. I selected away supporter so hopefully I’m surrounded with sky blue.

Flights and tickets booked!!! Let’s get ready to rumble!!!

In the same bay as Sponsor and I so we’ll be there with you.

The ticket layout was super dumb but hurrah grand final

That’s not the Cove.
You needed to select this option if you wanted a seat there.

It’s the fancy prawn sandwich away bay, not cove but it’ll have at least 2 fans in it.

Similar to the grand final down in Melbourne we lost where there were a bunch of Sydney fans up and to the right of the active bay.

I think the cove/shed is restricted view due to active support. There’s an article with tony p explaining it so daytrippers don’t crank the shits with flags/standing/chanting

Should always be sold as such

Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but is there going to be a gathering point for those not making the trek to Perth?

I’m sure there will be, but if one isn’t officially mentioned then I suspect it will be the Bat and Ball Hotel.

Will be bat & ball

I still hold out hope i can make the trek, but the Bat & Ball should be the next best thing…i wonder if the cas will be putting something on given our sponsorship deal

I’m sure the casino will have something organised, from a cove perspective the bat & ball will always be our home & we’ll never promote anywhere else.

I’m also happy to offer up help if anyone needs it.
I’m another western expat.

I’ve got all 4 of my boys coming with me.
With everything I’ve been doing over the last couple of years, this will be our first game since 5 nil at homebush vs wanderers.

Couldn’t pass up the chance to get down near the cove for a grand final. Super excited.

I believe these are no longer available (he’s going over himself now).

Excellent news.

Terrible flights.

Is it just me or with all the massive big deal that they made about allocated seating in active areas the cove is GA is a bit funny.

The Shed is all GA as well.

Apparently there were issues at the Glory Chelsea game with day trippers in the Shed end complaining about people in their seats and not being able to see.

Pignata said they were taking steps to rectify this.

It’s nice that tony listens to people.
It’s a good idea.
I’ll have my kids with me so it allows us to sit off to the back and the side so we aren’t in the way.
With allocated seating we could be forced to stand in the middle up the front and that wouldn’t be good.
