Heartle$$: Melbourne City Thread

I’d like to see a picture of the proposed TIFO, my guess is that there was an accompanying design that was the reason for the ban, likely someone holding a sword or some shit.

Rumour is that its punishment for letting off flares and fireworks last week at Ikon Park.

Melby’s gon’ Melby.

Hopefully they can keep us updated on future boycotts, pretty hard to tell otherwise.

Isn’t there now two “active “ groups for City?

Seems petty from the APL on face value.

But I suspect there’s more to the story than what’s being told.

“Inflammatory towards victory supporters”
Pretty rotten if they’ve been knocked back on the tifo because the victory supporters have shown in the past that they’ll throw the toys out of the cot and can’t control themselves when they get upset so the APL has decided lets not do anything to ever upset them again so we dont have another bucket incident.

I’d be stunned if there isn’t more to this one, such as the artwork

They made a realistic impression of the Yarra River by shitting on the fabric?

I wouldn’t be so quick to assume that fans of a Melbourne-based team are innocent. I’m leaning towards jubal’s and Harsulas’ take on it, and that the City fans are indeed hiding the real reason it was knocked back.

I was more thinking of Markamellos take that the APL were worried about what the drongos from the victory fan base would do…

To be fair, if someone held up a sign in the Cove that read ”we are Melbourne” I would regard that as pretty offensive.

Cove or not, Melbourne is a pretty offensive word.

Even if they had something close to a point or a reason for putting out the statement, all possible credibility is lost as soon as they hit the “cocaine sniffing corporates in high rise Sydney offices” bit.

Embarrassing stuff.

Is Cocaine too good for the Ketamine munching Melbournian corporates in high rise Melbourne offices?

It’s something I entirely expect to read from people born in that city. It’s incredibly cringeworthy.

The irony is that it reads like the ramblings of someone a couple of bags deep.

I reckon it’s a slap in the face to all non-Sydney teams.

It’s the worst part of a whole bunch of the other supporter groups. They generally have some valid points, but then they just HAVE to throw in name calling or cock references or other stuff that just undermines everything they say

So apparently its been overturned and the TIFO is going ahead.

Lot of pressure now. It better be fucking EPIC

Not so epic. Seeing it does reinforce their point that it was a fucking bizarre refusal from the APL.
