… our leadership group have been planning, painting and organising a tifo for the derby this Saturday, one of proportions our home end hasn’t seen in the last decade. This was going to be an incredible feat…

They’re still bitter they got smashed by Cumdog in NSW. To be fair, I agree it was unfair that they “hosted” in NSW, but it doesn’t CFG getting smashed by a non-Sheikh-owned community club any less funny.

Not to undermine the effort which goes into planning any sort of coordinated tifo, but placards hardly seem like the meticulous painting job they suggested. Unless this is some Plan B.
Also, there appear already to be far too many Victory supporters in that “City active” area even hours before the men’s game for people to cooperate.
They’ll move after the first game, that group of Victory people always sit in those same seats for their women’s games.
