How much control does the coach have in recruitment at City though? With their organisation, you’d almost assume that there would be someone higher up deciding who plays for which club, whether that’s locally or here. City may literally just want someone to train and use what they have to win games
I suspect he will be gone.
It has been reported that when he told Jameson to warm up with 10 minutes to go Jameson told him to f%%% off. Maybe it was just Jameson in the moment. But it does suggest there may be a lack of respect in the dressing room.
To be fair, 5-1 down at that point, and being you’re final game if you weren’t on the pitch shortly after half-time, you wouldn’t want to end your career coming in with 10 minutes to go unable to really do anything.
Jamieson’s face was absoloute thunder throughout the game. Every time the camera panned to him on the bench he looked thoroughly pissed off and fed up.
I’d say Rado would get a chance to rebuild in the off-season. If it looks like there’s a considerable slip in the first half of next season, he could be on thin ice. Yes, City won the league, but they did start with a rather big margin when Kisnorbo left, right?
yes… yes he is. Will be interesting to see what happens.
It could also have just been a fairly normal emotional reaction by him. It wouldn’t be east sitting on the bench for your last ever game and getting absolutely demolished
City will find a way. CFG have a heap of overseas contacts, which help not only bring in foreign players but attract young domestic talent who think they have a shot overseas.
The only things that will count against them next season are Rado, and the fact a new team has to be bedded in.
Can’t see City group leaving them out in the lurch. They’ll have a fairly big team identifying any talent they can poach from the A-League or looking at international players that could fit into the City team.
