The only reason Minney is moving him on is the new salary cap rules make going over the cap harder. Instead of being taxed, teams are now restricted on moves they can make and I think they can lose draft pics.
This turns New York into maybe the 2nd fav in the East.
It gives the Wolves cap flexibility and depth. Randle is on the last year of his current contract. If Randle works out they can give him a new contract that’s way less then KAT’s. If he doesn’t … they can let him go and chase a free agent that does fit better.

Sounds like Joe has come to Minny without the family, his son is on the autism spectrum and they have him in a school in Orlando that he enjoys.
