It is a fan group at the moment who plan on being the active support area. Very hard to sustain enthusiasm for a team that is still so far away from coming in so i wish them luck… the community engagement team certainly has a job in front of them to try and make sure people in the area don’t forget that the team exists or that those in to it now dont just fall away due to boredom. If a normal off season seems long as a SFC fan, imagine starting a supporter group and having two off seasons and a whole a-league season to try and keep people interested

They are having their first get together soon at a local charity game - they have titled it Bulls on Parade \m/

Maybe an interim step with an NYL or NPL or W-League side might have been a good transition.
Or maybe it might have been a terrible idea.

Could they have had the appropriate infrastructure in place by then to have an NPL team for 2020? NYL or W-League would possibly come along a little too soon for that. Still, I like the idea.

Another little titbit from the supporters group facebook – a poll asking who would be MFC’s biggest rival… 152 votes to WSW, 22 votes for both WSW and SFC and 2 votes for SFC….

I personally find it interesting, I really don’t have much of an idea of what’s going on with these guys.

I’m not surprised they aren’t considering us rivals.
