Delayed reaction but is this guy for real or some sort of comedy character? I’ve seen this pop up every now and then
Troy Hearfield, the man who scored in the Mariners 1-0 win over Celtic.
Celtic went on to beat Barcelona in the Champions League that year and Barcelona went on to win Champions League.
Ergo the Mariners were better than Barcelona.
Subsequently after that the Jets beat the Mariners. Local side Budgewoi beat the Jets in a trial game. Our local Ourimbah Premier League beat Budgie in a competition match.
Not long after that Ourimbah 35As beat Ourimbah PL in a training match. A few weeks later my Ourimbah AA side beat Ourimbah 35As in a training match.
Quite rightly and quite logically my own team was better than Barcelona that year. Given that I play centre midfield I would have subsequently owned Iniesta and Xavi.
So proud.
Troy hearfield who’s dad paid for him to travel to Scotland to “trial” with football clubs there and then used having been in Scottish trials to get signed by aleague clubs thinking he’d been playing there?
Bimbi and tmac are doing alright at Auckland. Any chance it was the board responsible for the club’s poor form in it’s final years, not the staff?
I think often things can just go stale. Or there is the wrong or conflicting combination of influences around a club, rather than someone just being shit at their job. How significantly different is the upper management of the club compared to the Corica or Arnold periods? I have to admit I don’t really follow much of the doings above the manager.
Edit: probably a discussion for the manager thread I guess!
Pedj Bojic spruking pool cleaners:
Has he stopped pimping our chimneys then?
One-time Melbourne City player Wade Dekker scored for Sri Lanka overnight, in their first win over Laos in 22 years.
Sharing the video not because the goal is anything special, but the music is
Remember him having a fair bit of hype when he was scoring a heap for City’s NPL team but never seemed to get much of an opportunity at A-League level.
That’s a proper banging tune
Clicked for the tune. Wasn’t disappointed.
Do it for the Socceroos in that same style… cringe.
Go West called, they want their signature style back.
Did you know that Sri Lanka’s battle has just begun?
Who or what is Socca Australia? And why is Ninkovic part of it?
Sounds like something Clive Palmer created and the Nink has replaced Kristian Rees.
