Yeah an opt in membership package sounds like a good idea. Or even a check box of the things you want sent to you - does any couple of family need more than one magnet?

Plenty of people wear hats. I wear caps quite a bit. I have heaps. Especially to games. Some people wear the membership hats. But, as a frequent wearer of hats, these ones are rubbish. Poorly made so poorly fitting and generally look a bit rubbish as a result. Resulting in not many wearing them.
One quality item, well made and produced, would be worth replacing all the other little knick knacks with.

I made a suggestion on here a few years back, and that was for the club to consider an opt out for the membership items, where members that do opt out instead receive a one off discount voucher for merchandise (say 20% off, considering we get 10% of anyway).
Either that, or to have a membership points system where every year you earn points that can translate to discounted purchases. The idea being that you could accumulate them and then use them to purchase something more significant. This would be harder to implemented though.

I agree with that the hats are very popular in general, as personally I have seen more people randomly wear the hats in public rather than the kits/jackets etc. I’m just happy with a hat or scarf, fridge magnet and a cute letter from a legend in my pack.
OK, remind me why anyone needs potentially 15 hats from the same club?

Has anyone ever contacted the club regarding this? I’m also wary that a lot of our membership artifacts are unnecessary and end up in landfill, which is something we’re trying to reduce in our home.

Mine said it was coming on the 10th but got here last Friday lol
All I want is the membership card (electronic is a great idea), the lanyard (used for my keys) and a calendar where each month is a different picture of Milos, delivered in a Milos scented box.

You don’t need an electronic card, just take a picture of the barcode
I know that, it’s more for cutting down on plastic. In the grand scheme of things it’s not much but you have to start somewhere.
Not wrapping the whole package in plastic would be good as well.

I just got home after a week and a half on the road, so only just opening it now.
First membership for a long time. Been meaning to rejoin for a couple of years now, but winning the membership at the end of season fundraiser at The Bat & Ball forced my hand.
Guessing I kept my member number from years ago too, considering I’ve got No 500?
