Tenet should be a warning to movie studios that you should never give a director a ton of money and complete control. It might make more sense with further watches, but it desperately needed someone to tell him to pump the brakes and simplify the story a bit.
File it along with the Irishman and hateful eight.
And also remix the soundtrack, old mate must be fucking deaf. You can’t hear half the dialogue because the background noise or score is way too loud. It’s like bane all over again.
Sounds like a Nolan film alright.
I’m too keen for this new Dune movie for it not to suck right?

I’m sure plenty of people said that when the original came out! I’m also hoping it doesn’t suck, but I’m not expecting miracles.
It has a great director who’s done Sci-Fi in the past (like Arrival and Blade Runner 2049) so you’d be optimistic that the film will be good.
Are you aware of my opinion on Phillip K Dick, ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep’, ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘Blade Runner 2049’?
If not, let’s just say Blade Runner is a mess, 2049 is also consequently a mess and hilly simply never did enough drugs to warp into Dick’s world.
I also hate Blade Runner. Most people seem to respond to this like you’ve just spat in their newborn’s face.
But the Dune trailer looks real good. I’m cautiously optimistic.

You just be happy you got to do Bladerunner. My English teacher chose Emma/Clueless… In an all boys school. I did my HSC without reading the book. It was the days when Bored of Studies reigned supreme!
I thought it was revolutionary back in the 80s that we did ‘Spy who came in from the cold’ and now people are doing Bladerunner and Clueless. :o
Bladerunner is fucking excellent and 2049 was pretty nifty (with a dope soundtrack).

we also did The Lord of the Rings Trilogy in 3 Unit English. The movies, not the books. Loved it! And in year 9 and 10, we convinced our teacher that we would have to go see the Harry Potter movies to assist in our Drama work…
