Amazing that he almost made 80.

Boooo!

Also, I hope some wraps his coffin in barbed wire and sets it on fire and makes all the funeral goers sit on thumbtacks.

This one is crazy. Only 36.

wow. That is a big shock, although he had a few “wellness” violations in the past

Is that the guy whose schtick was sitting in a cabin in the mountains reading intelectual books and then coming to town and stomping someone in the squared circle?

It started as something like a backwoods cult leader type vibe and then I believe became other things, I had left the 'E long behind by then.

I’m just leaving this here in the knowledge that @Mr2046 will have info galore about this wrestler and match.

Maki Itoh is amazing. Charli Evans is good. I didn’t see the match because I don’t care for GCW but Itoh is always good value.

Young wrestler Kosei Fujita finishing a match in Sydney with “What’s up cuuuuuuuunts?” on the mic shows that this country is teaching our visitors well.

This Elimination Chamber PPV is a rort.
There’s only 4 matches on the main card. The main event better be something fucking special because the other matches have left a lot to be desired.

I’m over here for it (Christmas present to my two sons)

the crowd really doesn’t care they are on absolute fire for everything that’s been served up!

So that was my first wwe event since summerslam 88 at Wembley when I was my son’s age.

While the card was short, the crowd just got hotter and hotter and the last two matches - men’s elimination chamber and women’s world title were fantastic

One had a great twist ending and the other ensured the 55k strong audience went home happy

My kids won’t forget the experience

if HHH does hang around… WWE could be on for another great run, that was a hell of a wrestlemania and a great, great main event.

Wrestling is best when you invest in the story telling… and they got it spot on

This is the first Wrestlemania I’ve watched in about 18 years, and any wrestling in at least a decade. Agreed that the main event was fantastic and lived up to the hype. I also really enjoyed Gunther vs Sami Zayn from yesterday. There are also a lot more competent female wrestlers than when I used to watch it.

That really sucks, the guy had a big presence, and gave us some unintentionally great moments on the mic, and seemed like a legit nice dude outside the ring.

Oh man. I loved sid, he was completely bonkers, said and did some crazy shit.
I loved that he was one of the first anti-hero types that naturally got over, no matter which way they tried to spin things the crowd kept chanting his name.

No more kick or be kickin

More pro wrestling news that might appeal to some folks around these parts. I’ll probably find my way up there, I’ve been to a wrestling stadium show a few times but never outdoors or in Australia.

I will probably take my two sons… we did the WWE in Perth and they loved it (and suncorp would give better views than Optus due to the shape of the ground).

Plus… while I don’t watch AEW I know 90% of the roster from the WWE days anyway

I saw outdoor wrestling at Henson Park a few years ago.
