Rhyan Grant thread - the return of the shit hair

I agree, he was more like himself second half v Macarthur

Does anyone know if we still have that head doctor fella around?

Arnie’s guy went to the NT I think.

In that case, may I make a suggestion?

Why do you hate the interwebz?

I think he’s called a hair dresser, but carry on…

I think his form has been a broader symptom of the teams malaise more than anything personal.

Cheap turnovers mean his attacking runs are sacrificed or don’t get to start. He works best when he plays his pass and overlaps and the cm, Am/winger and striker link up well before playing him in. That’s not been happening as Retre has been poor, and Wood can’t get involved enough (22 successful passes, lowest of all strikers including Swibel who has played half as many minutes)

We had a Cancer Council local dancing with the stars event tonight and this was up for auction.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Not such a fan of this

:broken_heart:

Was always going to happen. Hope he goes to a really good league where he really gets pushed to develop even further (he has come such a long way already at SFC). And the SPL is not that league. He deserves everything good after being such an amazing contributor for SFC for so long and does not have too many years to try that something different.

Danny Townsend said on the Facebook q&a yesterday that Grant is the first one he’s talking to about contracts this year as his is up end of season. Could be money talk for Grant.

At Grant’s age and with his injury history? He’s not going anywhere.

Doesn’t really tell us anything we didn’t know though. We know he’s training overseas. And what does ā€œopenā€ mean? Of course he’s open to joining an overseas club. So are all Australian players. We’re in basically the same situation with Grant we were a year ago. He’s our player but he might go overseas.

I’m not going to sit here and read such slander of 30-year-olds… Argh! My back. My knee. I need a nap.

Why would an overseas club sign Rhyan Grant, he’s rubbish at football?
He’s better off staying here where he’s comfortable and we can extract his, at best, inconsistent & mediocre performances.

Agreed. I was talking to Rhyan as he was having a 48 hour drug fuelled bender. He was telling me (well, slurring to me) that his knees are held together with elastic bands and sticky tape. Definitely not worth another club taking a risk on him.

Photographic evidence of this exists, any other club would be mad to take a punt on him.

Enjoys a drink too while injured. Any other club would be foolish to spend money on this long time SFC player.
