Round 1 - Sydney FC vs Melbourne - 21/10/23

He’s got a niggle…
He’s been playing a lot, relatively, for a young fella, stepping up a few levels too.
Maybe Corica is minding him

Does Adamson have a niggle? Can anyone confirm? I had him in my Fantasy side as a potential ‘cash cow’… if he’s only out a week but would be in the squad, worth keeping… but if not in the squad for the season, obviously needs to go

Assuming Vince or George Clarke don’t do so first, I’ll ask Corica about Adamson in the presser.

Probably better to tell him the SFCU brains trust have decided he needs a contract and he should act on it immediately.

Seems are me Sydney FC pedestrians & cyclists are the only people who use the Sicilian Freeway. Kudos to Sydney fans for justifying the hilarious cost of that bridge.

Whoever did the cut and paste job at HQ needs a telling off, they forgot to change the match details at the bottom of the page

Tickets seem to be selling well for this one. With our membership of now 20k, SCG members, and decent one-off ticket sales am hoping we can crack 20,000. As we saw even 15,000 at the Australia Cup final is a great atmosphere at the new stadium, this one should be even better.

Yeah, I think 20k should be par. Weather should help us too.

Hope we win tbh

We are going to Bazball the fuck out of them.

It’s all about the moral victories now.

I used to always dread playing them.
Not anymore
It is their peach which will receive the baguetting

This is the second consecutive home game against Australia’s Shame that I’ll miss due to other obligations sadly. The good news is we won the last one, so inshallah the good guys win again here.

I get what youre saying, however i used to work in North Sydney and rode my pushie there a few times from the inner west. Hands down the most difficult and dangerous section was between Milsons Point & North Sydney. There was no bike path, all the back streets were blocked off and your only choice was to literally carry the bike up a huge set of steep pedestrian stairs, or dare to ride your bike on the highway straight after the exit slipway from the Harbour Bridge up the hill avoiding angry peak hour maniacs.

I’m not surprised lycra dude thought 'fuck that shit I’m getting the train".

This was a few years back so hopefully its changed now.

Please don’t make me question a lifetime of petty rage.

It’s such lovely weather today that I thought I must get out of the house and enjoy it.

Does anyone know of anything happening later today, perhaps around late evening, where I can enjoy a good feed in town followed by a walk through a park around sunset followed by some sort of social gathering… somewhere around 7:45pm?

Just hope the guys dont come out play like they did in the first half against Brisbane in Cup final.

You’re not a fan of the classic rope-a-dope tactics?
