Round 11 - Sydney FC vs CCM - 4/1/19

We’ve had a few extra days of rest, we are in decent form and CCM are rubbish. We should be romping this one.

Bring on the turgid draw!

This will be harder than it should be.

These fuckers always lift against us.

the Wizard wants a hat trick!

Just don’t wanna be the team that allows them to break that win duck.

You should be able to get 500 to 1 if you back CCM. It may ease the pain.

Predicting 1-1 draw.

Portable goal derby?

They’ll break their duck and go on a good run after.
Mariners 3-0

De Silva is out as he cannot play against his parent club.

I guess Ivanovic and Lokolingoy will have to be our attacker subs.

So with Grant and De Silva out our bench is likely to be something like this:

  • Cisak
  • Devlin
  • Ivanovic
  • Lokolingoy
  • Tratt

That would pretty much be our weakest bench all season right? Still, great chance to get some minutes for the young players.

I can’t think of a much better time to give the youngsters minutes, especially if we’re a couple of goals up.

I can’t see Corica giving any of them many minutes to be deadly honest- he doesn’t use subs much as is

With a game on the 9th as well he might be willing if we go a couple of goals up, particularly something like Ivanovic or Devlin for De Jong.

PAX of 4464 as at 7.50 pm Wed 2nd. So probably pax plus walkups of 6,000. Lots of members away so probably 7,000 members plus 6,000 pax and walkups. Predicting 13,000 total.

Also when people are thinking about the bench for Friday, why leave out Caceres?

He hadn’t been announced yet. He’ll be in in Devlin’s place I assume.

Still waiting on the international clearance.

Caceres is listed as available here. Also worth noting that CCM did not select Clisby and that Hiariej and Cisse may both be back this week:

Bar McCormack that must be the strongest squad they’ve put out all year.

There’s no way Simon doesn’t score against us again.
