10 years ago when we were shit, I do recall Ryall and Grant being maligned as poster boys for our overall mediocrity… ‘Gryall’ they were called.

I actually thought he had loads of potential and wasn’t achieving it consistently…not altogether surprising when you consider the lifestyle he was living at the time.

I might add that my expectations around players, coaches, the club and the league are way above anything that is achievable in my lifetime and as a result it weighs heavily upon my joie de vivre, which causes me to drink heavily.
Anyway, I’m torn between not wanting us to stumble into the finals, pretend it was a success and continue on in this direction and not wanting to cheer against the team…in this particular game nothing but a win matters so I can enjoy cheering on the boys guilt free.
