And I honestly thought Fabio was excellent tonight, he really did win everything in the air and held the ball up well. Just needs to work on his shooting like everyone else (though of course as striker he needs to be better). He does bring a lot to our game though.

I hope that this goal gives Kucharski the boost he needs. I feel he’s been low on confidence for a little while now. Some strikers just need a goal to go on a run.

Mak could’ve scored it, Lolley, Fabio and I even go as far as to say Caceres and Burgess as well.
JK though, he really is one of ours. From standing on the terraces to going through the academy, proving himself in the NPL and then that.
You just know how much it meant to him before it even gets to being his job. It’s what makes Hayden Matthews blocks and clearances in defence so much better than if they’re made by Lacerda or Rodwell.
Fuck, even their goal came from our academy.
He’s one of our own and the kid needed that. I honestly could not be happier.
