I remember talking to a Wanderers fan earlier today. Thoroughly decent guy, to be honest. He voiced his concern over missing finals and missing finals would mean Rudan would get the sack, and maybe Popovic would come back.
I hope they keep Rudan for another decade. Heās just not the kind of manager I can see taking a young A-League team to silverware unless other teams massively slip up. His teams arenāt proactive enough, and he himself doesnāt have the patience to nurture the younger players (or even the older ones) as they need to. His āmotivational methodsā might have worked 30 years ago but I donāt think they do now.
