Agreed. I know being “relaxed” is his schtick, but at some point it looks more like unaccountable.

Good to see the A-League has stayed true to character. Some quality moments, some absolute rubbish, rarely boring.
Bozanic goal was a cracker imo. Not too much blame on the goalkeeper there.

Maybe Redders should’ve covered better but that was a good kick. Give the Perth player credit.
Not sure a moment of frustration from Redders indicates that he’s “too relaxed” or not accountable for his own mistakes. Always seemed a good honest bloke to me.
I’m not sure what happened from the restart than resulted in the free though. We were celebrating the 3rd from us.
I reckon it was meant to be a cross. Redmayne had his position all wrong. Wasn’t positioned to deal with the cross or the shot and got caught in no man’s land.

As tired as we are, the players are far more tired. 90 minutes into a game with 1.5 hrs delay between halves. Cut them some slack. At least we won.

This is not to say Pava doesn’t deserve a look. Come the next NPL season he’ll probably be called on for youth. Might be worth Uffy giving him a shot before then. Redders never struck me as ego-driven and seems to support younger keepers, but maybe he is ego-driven. I don’t know him outside of being a fan.
Obviously doesn’t count the ones 2 yards away from him that he just looks wistfully at, as he doesn’t bother to contest them.
He’s a cosplay authoritarian, worst ref in the league by a margin.

If it went near post then okay but it was a far post cross that he somehow managed to get both the line and height wrong on.
I think people judge goalkeepers on the saves they make far too much rather than the mistakes they do/don’t make.
Redmayne catches that cross and no one mentions a thing. He misjudges it and we’re under the pump until the final whistle.
Earlier this year he let in an early goal that should have been an easy save. He makes a couple of saves later on in the game so all is forgiven yet we still lost the match.
Don’t make the mistake, we don’t lose.
The problem is that the only player we had on the books to push him is now gone. Pava isn’t up to it and Hoefsloot is too young so it’s not surprising that Redmayne’s performances continue to drop.

Thought Lacerda was magnificent. He got up forward a lot in the second half and he reads the game so well, does all the simple things right and wins tackles. Him and Rodwell as CB partners would probably be the best in the league, shame we will probably rarely see it.
