Streets of our town - the Sydney thread

The video of it is pretty grainy. You see a lot of splashing, and then a couple big red sprays of blood in the water.

Don’t think it was a rock fisherman. I think it was a surfer or a paddle boarder or something.

Pretty scary stuff, but at the same time it’s the old cliche. It’s their domain.

You’re right I misread the story. Rock fisherman spotted the swimmer.

Thinking it may have been a spear fishermen.

That point off Little Bay has a deep rock shelf for spear fishing.

1 fatality every 60 years? I’ll take those odds.

I have a program that can increase those odds.

Just $9.95 for your piece of mind!

Diving instructor.

The most fucked up thing is that, sure, you’re not going to jump in to save his life. By all accounts the guy was dead in seconds. But the two fucking cunts that took video, posted it on fucking line. What the actual fuck?

It was totally refurbed not all that long ago.

When I was very young back in the 1950s, on a Sunday afternoon, myself and a couple of mates used to roam around the streets of Artarmon. crawling under the gates of the tennis courts looking for balls, riding a billy cart, etc. The main road through the shopping centre used to be like a ghost town. Not a soul, not a car, a very strange vibe.

This forum when most members are away from work has a similar feel.

Let’s face it. Gone are the days of luminaries like random_hero_sfc, naughtynickers, madskillz, amongst others. And gone are areas of the forum like CEO’s Corner. Drughi’s question about bringing lingerie models onto the pitch at half-time. They were the times!

I’m trying to post more myself. My peak forum reading years, I was reading SFCU five hours per day, easily.
