Cooks River is decent, no way as busy as your Bay run, but quite pleasant for most of it. Lots of CDSFA home grounds along the way so you might get to watch the odd game on your walk around.

Ended up walking along the beach path at Ramsgate. Good vibes along there and the dog loved it.
Needing some advice. We are at a work conference at the Fullerton Martin Place next week and have Wednesday evening free.
My team wanted to go to Mr Wong however it is pricey. We have a $100 limit for food and drink. Not looking to get hammered but a couple of beers or wine with dinner will be nice.
Any recommendations for some good value eats in the CBD?
I did indu last week with the parents and it was lovely. I reckon it was under $400 and we had a couple bottles of wine. They probably do a banquet too which might make it easier to manage costs.
$100 per person? Thatās going to be tough if youāre including a few drinks.
Maybe your best bet is BYO in Chinatown?
Iāve been to Kid Kyoto now a couple of times in large groups (team and then clients), got the $75 set menu which was plenty of food and really tasty flavours. Add some bottles of wine and you should be looking at ~$100 a head. Itās literally another 20 metres down the laneway from Mr Wong
Alfies place
Has a fixed price for steak so you have a baseline for costs - anything on that is your decisions
I am fascinated by the AWA Tower, if it didnāt have the tower bit I reckon it could double for the apartment building in Ghostbusters.

One of my favourites
I remember a few years back someone committed suicide jumping off it unfortunately.
You can also see the tower in the Matrix
Wonderful building. If youāre a fan of art deco buildings in Sydney, the Grace building on York St is an obvious one but the City Mutual Life building in Hunter St is gorgeous too.
Iām lucky enough to work in a beautifully restored art deco building at 155 Clarence St.
I guess this fits here.
This blows my mind, but goes to show how we can really fall into comfort zones. And I guess that some people simply donāt have the means to explore the city.
This has always fascinated me - and i didnāt think it still happened.
youād often see interviews with people from the 60ās and 70s in places like NY or London who had never even left their neighbourhood
My wifeās aunt and uncle are farmers in the country and they hardly ever go anywhere.
They usually only travel to go to doctors appointments, cause he had both his arms ripped off, but thatās a pretty solid reason.
That story took a turn
Oh yeah, there are plenty of ālifersā out here in Bathurst. So many people just happy to stay this side of the Mountainsā¦
Everybody here on the Northern Beaches is pretty much oblivious of anything over the Spit Bridge.
Could also go in the gear grinding thread, but man the light rail station at Moore Park is idiotic. Having a single, central platform for a stop that has mass movement in a short periodā¦ just dumb dumb dumb.
Went to get a haircut in Forster and was chatting to the 80 year old hairdresser. Asked him how heād ended up in Forster. The story started with the parents working for a company that produced the best golf clubs in the world. Moved to them going to a farm and then ended with him finding both parents having hung themselves in a barnā¦ Apparently he moved to Forster after that
Donāt be so dramatic
