Sydney Supercup Nov 2022 - Rangers, Celtic

Fuck yes

Did Furuhashi not get called up by Japan?

It’s apparent the boys were nervous against Wests. Everything from our ball control, passing, decision making etc is better than it was on the weekend.

Cove might be outnumbered 10:1 but the Celtic end is quiet as. I’m on the halfway line up top and the small Cove is winning the battle (better than the derby).

Free tix but I’ve already spent $100 on beer and pasta.

we are looking quite good i think

That made Caballo look bad but the Celtic player was a metre offside there.

The general absence of cynical fouling in a friendly match is also another difference between this game and the derby

They’re not pressing us, they are being polite to the local team

Will be full of tourists who support Celtic because grandpa walked past Parkhead one time when they were European Champions in Nineteen dickity two.

Surely at least a few supporters travelled out.

Andy Harper is a patronising wanker.

Celtic are jet lagged. There’s acres of space for us.

I might put my sneering cynicism aside for one second and say this is a surprisingly entertaining game.

NPL / U20 CB, he’s a unit.

Genuinely not sure if we’re decent or these farmer league cunts are shite.

it’s entertaining because there is no VAR.

So why has Burgess been on the bench all season? Best on field so far.

Both teams wide open. No pressure on the ball carrier. Holiday game.

Because he’s been woeful in every league appearance since he has come back to us

Because until he realizes that short socks and even shorter shorts are not a good look, he’s getting minimal game time.

I genuinely hope the promoter is getting rinsed.

I’m loving the excuses being run out on the Celtic forum. Especially about second teamers. Half our team is probably on less than their Academy side. Be good if we’d strung some of this play together in actual competitive games.
