It would have only worked out okay if it was during the pre-season. Is there any Youtube stream or any stream for the game? Currently in Mexico.
I don’t begrudge local active support not showing up for these mid-week Euro exhibition games, I usually don’t myself, but official Cove presence tonight when none at the Arsenal game a few years back is a bit upsetting to me. Especially as that invited comparison to the RBB on the Saturday.
Edit: Out of the 3 exhibition matches involving SFC I’ve been to, though one was Galaxy not Euro, Arsenal was the 1 that had no official Cove.
Is this the only one at our actual home ground? Believe the rest were at Olympic Park?
I realised I don’t really have any point with the above, but don’t be upset that the Cove didn’t turn up to a eurosnob affair. Galaxy game was somewhat important as a showcase to the flogs, by the time the Arsenal game came around I don’t think anyone cared that much.

I wish we played like this in games that actually mattered.
But honestly, it’s a no win situation. You either pay ridiculous prices to watch a friendly where you’ll get smashed and booed but the Eurosnobs, or you look like you’re abandoning the local side in the face of Eurosnobbery.

As a baseline for any of these matches it’s important to remember that the local team doesn’t matter at all in the context of the entire thing. Hence the decision to stay home is easy.
