The overall season target
828 minutes in 26 matches: just under 32 minutes per week

212 minutes in 17 matches: 12 and a half minutes per week playedThe target:

Status: ATTAINABLE but UNLIKELY .

One elimination final, two semi finals and a grand final is 3 games that could go to 120 minutes, and one at 90 minutes. 450 potential minutes in finals means only like two games of regular season need to be played!

I suspect he’ll fall just short this season, but will make it up in the ACL games next season, followed by Club World Cup fixtures thereafter.
Sounds like he’s going to be firing up the Playstation for some serious FIFA sessions.

Gurd has just signed a new contract hasn’t he? He is, it implies, quite happy to bide his time and learn from an a-league legend and an ex England international
The only potential ACL involving Jack Rodwell is not the ACL you’re thinking of…
By remaining on the bench for the first 22 minutes this week, Rodwell’s target is now slipping that little bit further away with the ticking of the clock.
This is the most exciting part of our season.

Match 18 kiddies, and we all thought we’d see him knock a few of those 616 off when he was named on the bench, didn’t we? But we didn’t. Never mind, we go again.

Status: STILL POSSIBLE but TEETH ARE GRINDING
Fun fact: If we don’t see him in the Big Blue, then he will need to play in every game (and nearly every minute) to reach the target in regular season.
I’ve got about the same chance of hitting the target as he does
He also needs to acquire a minimum of 3 goals this season.
Can he take a penalty?
Are there any agencies that would offer exotic bets on this?
