I wonder how popular itā€™d actually be. Reckon the players would be all for it, week 1 bender incoming.

I know the All Blacks played at Soldier Field in front of 61K, BUT, their shirt sponsor at the time was AIG, whose head office was nearby, and there were some queries around how many tickets they had given away to make it seem like there was actually interest.

In all seriousness, though, its an unfair disadvantage for four clubs. The entire round should be played there, or nobody should play there. But its far from the only weird thing about the NRL.

Particularly when 3/4 of those teams will likely have a fair few Origin players, and even with byes will either lose key players or have them back up after Origin on top of this junketā€¦

Which is why Origin needs to be a stand a lone weekend (combine it with the All stars/Womens Origin/Row V NZ games so each game is a double header)

Why are Cronulla wearing dark blue shirts with light blue as a secondary colour while gold coast are wearing light blue shirts with black as a secondary colourā€¦ you can barely see them apart
