Surely Marshall as coach is NOT going to solve their problems. The least they can do, though, is to be competitive most weeks. I donât know how in a salary cap competition, 3-4 teams can be so far behind the rest, and the top couple are often far ahead of the rest.

I wonder if the NRL can move the game somewhere else in this circumstance. I doubt the live site thing will quite kick off the way the FIFA sites did. Itâs not like any of the finals games are unavailable on free-to-air âŠ

Iâm no fan of the money spent on Allianz, but letâs not pretend it only services rugby league.
The NRLâs policy allows for suburban grounds in week 1. The Sharks have earned the right to play at their, admittedly decrepit, home ground. I donât see the problem with this.
Exactly this - if a club plays at a suburban ground that gives them significant advantage come finals time
Otherwise itâll be the afl where everyone plays at Docklands or the mcg

The whole thing is complete and utter bullshit. The Sharks have opted to play there, itâs their choice. If theyâre happy to lose the money and exposure to ensure they get a home ground advantage, the bully to them!
Earning the right to a home semi is still a feature of the A league finals series - except for the GF, obvs - isnât it? A feature universally liked?
