So Thirroul Butchers and Dubbo CYMS (Southern and Western premiers) both withdrew from the President’s Cup, leaving St Mary’s (Central premiers) and Maitland Pickers (Northern premiers) to contest the final. Good thing the final wasn’t a forfeit too.
Hope the Pickers smash those St Marys grubs.

To be fair, they crush it every year in President’s Cup. I want to see Glebe get back into the final but not sure I could handle another smashing.

Some supporters of the earlier teams have left, but probably 1000 at most, I’d say.
Actually, scratch that. Probably more than that have left. Lots of Dogs fans, the Maitland and St Mary’s fans, and Roosters fans. It’s decent crowd now but given the amount of the stadium with people, looks a bit less than a 3rd, not that the number always matches my impression. Where’s SMFC Mike!?
So the Bunnies play against Brisbane Tigers to open NRLGF Sunday.
Meanwhile, 14k up in Newcastle for the NRLW semi between the Knights and Brisbane.

A Knights-Titans NRLW GF means NSWRL vs. QLDRL teams across the 3 games (Well, the interstate game obviously). 6 different clubs too.
